Award-winning singer-songwriter Cory Asbury, whose credits include “Reckless Love” and “The Father’s House,” has signed an exclusive artist management agreement with Maximum Artist Group. The announcement was made by Mitchell Solarek, president of the Nashville-based company. Asbury joins a roster that includes selling gold and platinum, multiple award winners Natalie Grant, Tauren Wells and producer / writer Bernie Herms, among others.
“Cory is an incredible songwriter and artist who has achieved incredible success over the past few years,” said Solarek. “We are delighted that he is now a member of the Maximum family and we are extremely happy to be a part of his future.”
Asbury rose to the top of the broadcast and sales charts with their hit single and album, Reckless love, which has won numerous accolades including the Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards for Song of the Year, Cult Song of the Year and Cult Album of the Year; a 2019 Grammy nomination; billboards Christian Song of the Year 2019; 2019 Christian Song of the Year from BMI and ASCAP (after spending 18 weeks at # 1). The single was recently certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for a sales consumption of over two million units. Asbury has generated over 779 million audio and video streams in the United States alone.

Originally from North Carolina, now living in the suburbs of Nashville, Asbury is a songwriter, singer, speaker, songwriter, and worship leader. From singing in his local church in his early teens to becoming a cult leader in local churches in Kansas City, MO and Kalamazoo, MI, Asbury has now dominated global stages with his passionate performances and deeply resonant lyrics. Her successful career-defining single, “Reckless Love”, was inspired by her journey through the birth of her first son and the near loss of her first daughter.
“I feel like this song is the highlight of the second half of my life,” Asbury said. Relevant magazine in 2018. “When our son was born. . . [a]And when I first held it, it felt like everything had changed. . . . And I remember thinking, man, there’s nothing this little boy can make me do to love him less. And it was through this experience that I started to see [God] exactly . . . And that changed everything for me.
A prolific songwriter and touring artist, Asbury is gearing up for a big load of 2022 dates, including upcoming events in January with the KLOVE Caribbean Cruise and the “Rock the Universe” festival at Universal Studios Florida. Tours in late spring 2022 and fall 2022 are in preparation.
Asbury lives in Middle Tennessee with his wife Anna and their four children, Gabriel, Lily, River and Willow-Grace.
