KATHMANDU: Communications and Information Technology Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said development of all linguistic and ethnic communities is first and foremost for the prosperity of the country.
In his address during a program organized in Kathmandu on Friday on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Nepal’s Kushwaha Kalyan Samaj, Minister Karki, who is also the government spokesperson, emphasized the economic, social and cultural development of the grassroots community to create the basis for a prosperous Nepal. .
“The country will only prosper when the nation’s various ethnic and linguistic communities are fully developed. For the country to prosper, the development of the mountain, hills and Terai was inevitable,” he stressed.
Minister Karki is committed to guaranteeing the rights of all communities in the country. All citizens have the same role in building a prosperous nation, he said, highlighting the role of the Kushwaha community in transforming the country.
Samaj President Tapeswor Mahato emphasized the need to reserve the Kushuwaha community for their equal participation in all state structures.
